All puppies must be:
picked up in person at our home in Mesa, Arizona,

we may arrange to meet the Buyer at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) for in-person delivery.
Puppies will only be released to the Buyer (or a previously approved individual) after full payment has been received.
Buyer is responsible for all travel arrangements and agrees to arrive at the scheduled pick-up time.
15. Right to Refuse Sale
Comfort Royalty Cavaliers reserves the right to refuse a sale at any time if the Breeder feels the placement is not in the best interest of the puppy.
In this case, any deposit made will be refunded.
16.Health Testing & Breeding Program Standards
Comfort Royalty Cavaliers is committed to the long-term health and preservation of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
All breeding dogs in our program are health tested as age-appropriate, which may include:
OFA cardiac evaluations
OFA patella evaluations
DNA screening for breed-relevant conditions
We follow a structured protocol for Mitral Valve Disease (MVD) by completing cardiac screenings at the appropriate ages prior to breeding.
Because some health testing is age dependent, clearances are performed when a dog reaches the required maturity.
Copies of available health testing for the puppy’s parents will be provided upon request.
17.Mitral Valve Disease (MVD) Statement
The Buyer acknowledges that Mitral Valve Disease is a condition known to exist within the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed.
Comfort Royalty Cavaliers actively works to reduce the risk of early-onset MVD through:
selective breeding
cardiac screening protocols
pedigree research
However, no breeder can guarantee that a dog will never develop MVD.
Our goal is to produce Cavaliers with the best possible genetic foundation for long, healthy lives.
18.Co-Ownership (when applicable)
Some puppies may be placed under a co-ownership agreement.
In these cases:
Comfort Royalty Cavaliers will remain listed as a co-owner on registration
all breeding decisions must be approved by the Breeder
the dog must remain in excellent physical condition and proper weight
all health testing required for breeding must be completed at the appropriate age
A separate written co-ownership agreement will outline:
breeding responsibilities
financial arrangements
number of litters (if applicable)
transfer of full ownership
Co-ownership is designed to mentor and support the development of future breeding programs while protecting the integrity of the bloodline.
19.Guardian Home Program (when applicable)
Select puppies may be placed in approved Guardian Homes.
This allows the dog to live as a beloved family companion while remaining part of the Comfort Royalty breeding program.
Guardian Homes agree to:
maintain the dog in excellent health and condition
feed a high-quality diet
keep the dog at a healthy weight
complete all required veterinary visits
make the dog available for scheduled health testing and breeding commitments
Comfort Royalty Cavaliers covers all breeding-related expenses.
A separate Guardian Home Agreement will provide full details regarding:
responsibilities
breeding terms
ownership transfer timeline
Guardian Homes must be located within an approved distance to allow access for breeding and care.
